Maison de Bibby

Here is Maison de Bibby, a mini boutique hotel created by Anna Bibby, a former gallery owner from Auckland, New Zealand. Maison de Bibby is located in the village of Martel in south west France and this beautifully restored 18th century stone town house is filled with antiques from the region and contemporary New Zealand art. HOME New Zealand magazine did a great cover story on this boutique hotel earlier this year.

An Artistic Interior

Here is an astonishing interior space filled with many books and pieces of art - the photographs by Matthew Hranek shows what seems like an office slash art library (imagine working here!) stored with many amazing pieces of art. I would love to check this place and have a closer look - wouldn't you?

At the beginning of 2011, Paul Ferney put his belongings in storage and moved to Paris for a year. The result? His Little Paris Paintings of shops and buildings that he walked by daily. Lovely. See more of his work here.
