Animal Vegetables for Crane Brothers

Sterling silver garnet pin by Crane Brothers Jewellery

I was reading a fashion magazine over the weekend and came across a wonderful animal vegetable advertisement by Auckland artist Richard Orjis for the new Crane Brothers Jewellery range for men. Clever, simple and so effective.

Last week New Zealand fashion label, Juliette Hogan hosted a breakfast to present their SS13 collection to the media. It was located at their new work room space and they collaborated with great products to make the event so stylish and delicious.

Jamie McLellan for Gubb & Mackie

McLellan modelling Gubb & Mackie clothing along with his Spar Junior light at his desk.

When naval tailor Gubb & Mackie were looking for an ambassador for their new collection, they went to industrial designer, Jamie McLellan.
"Jamie Mclellan is an Industrial designer who likes messing about on bikes and more importantly: in boats. Jamie has worked with the best and now spends his time here, there and everywhere designing everything from furniture, lights, taps to kayaks."
Their new website (launched yesterday) shows McLellan modelling the clothes along with some visuals of his office. Great to see New Zealand talents working together.

Walls of Flowers for Dior

Stunning walls of flowers for Raf Simons' couture debut in Paris.

Fashion designer Raf Simons with Diane Kruger for Vogue magazine.

"There were peonies, goldenrod, dahlias, carnations, delphiniums, orchids and all kinds of roses. Flowers splayed from floor to ceiling."
This is quite sensational - in early July, Dior created this visual feast for Raf Simons' couture debut. Five salons in Paris become the backdrop of colour as a million flowers were cut and arranged to create these stunning spaces. Imagine the fragrance!
