Last month was a good one! I also made an appearance in Her, a women's business and lifestyle magazine and this time it was about being an interior designer with a blog.

I was asked why a blog is a helpful tool for an interior designer, as well as 10 things that were influencing me right now. Thanks Her magazine for the feature.

Minty Fresh in Urbis Magazine

It was a highlight last month to be featured in the latest Urbis magazine. I was interviewed by Sharon Stephenson about my interior design work in Wellington (you can read it here) and photographed by Simon Devitt. I am chuffed by the lovely feed back that I have receiving from all over. Many thanks Urbis magazine.

Stylish Interior Designer's Home

Tyler used Ikea kitchen cabinetry which she wrapped with custom made oak bench tops.

The dining table with a set of 50's Carl Jacob Jason chairs that Tyler found on ebay.

A Nelson Platfrom bench acts as the coffee table and Tablo side tables from Design House Stockholm.

I remember very well seeing this house when it was featured on an episode of Grand Designs a couple of years ago (do you watch this show? Isn't host Kevin McLeod great?) so when I spotted it in Dwell, it was great to be able to have a closer look. This house was designed by interior designer, Kathryn Tyler and she built her home around her vintage furniture collection that she had amassed previously over the years. Read more about it here.
