Happy New Year All

Christmas day was a lovely day with my family and I hope your day was special too.
Our gorgeous summer weather has been temporaily suspended with a rather large dose of rain - however, I am looking forward to 2012 and to seeing the hot summer sunshine back very soon.
Charlotte Minty Interior Design wishes you a Happy New Year and have a great evening. Roll on 2012!
Enjoy this summery hallway from an Italian apartment found in Sibella Court's new book, Nomad.

Ted Muehling Store in NYC

Ted Muehling jewellery store in NYC. Photograph by Ditte Isager.
Here is an elegant jewellery store in New York that goes by the name of its jewellery designer, Ted Muehling. I like the homely and gentle feel of the store as well as its interesting displays and grey panelled walls. Stylist Sibella Court is a fan - in fact, from her book 'The Stylists Guide to NYC', she says "If you're feeling flat (actually if you're in any kind of mood), come here. Not only for his beautiful nature-inspired jewellery but also his coral-inspired spoons. The panelled walls are often pinned with dragonflies and sea creatures." Sounds lovely.

Sibella Court's Stylist Guide to NYC

I have been updating my Amazon bookstore and there is one book I am most keen to get my hands on - it is 'The Stylist's Guide to NYC' by interior stylist and The Society Inc creator, Sibella Court. I am planning my next trip to exciting New York City and this book couldn't be a better guide. Sibella Court lived and worked in the city over a 15 year period and is in the know for the best places to go. I'm looking forward to reading the richly visual chapters and finding out places for the likes of 'Scents and Flower Merchants', 'Furniture and Interiors' and 'Kitchen and Table Paraphernalia'.

The book is filled with rich visuals and text.
